Claudia serves as an advisor to the State of Wisconsin as a member of the Legal and Policy Committee for the WIRED for Health Board. This committee is responsible for researching, analyzing, and developing the Strategic and Operational Plan for Wisconsin’s health Information Exchange platform. She also serves as Chairman-Elect of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin and served for many years as the chair of the Health Law Section of the Milwaukee Bar Association. She is a member of the American Bar Association, serves on various committees with HIPAA-COW, and, as a member of the Health and Information Technology section of the American Health Lawyers Association, worked to draft a White Paper on legal and compliance issues impacting interoperable electronic records. Claudia has strong ties in Milwaukee and has actively supported the community through volunteer work, including serving as Vice President of Audience Development and Visibility of Present Music and President of the Friends of Villa Terrace, serving on the Go Red For Women® Sponsorship Committee for the American Heart Association, volunteering as a fundraiser for the annual UPAF campaign ,protecting the interests of human subjects of research as a community member of the Institutional Review Board of UW-Milwaukee, and training mentors who assist recently diagnosed breast cancer victims through ABCD - After Breast Cancer Diagnosis.
Linnea has been practicing law for over ten years and dedicates her practice to technology law. Prior to joining Claudia Egan Law Offices LLC, Linnea was an associate with the law firm of Bass & Moglowsky where she focused her practice on mortgage foreclosures and bankruptcy. She provided counseling and legal expertise to lenders, both large and small, treating each case as unique, to help every client attain both their business and legal goals. Mrs. DeBraal also previously worked at A.B. Data, Ltd. as a Claims Administration Manager where she was responsible for effectuating a Notice and Claims Administration Program in Securities Class Action Lawsuits. She was accountable for the fund administration and distribution of both cash and stock in accordance with the court-approved plan of allocation or settlement stipulation. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison where she received a B.S. in Economics and Political Science. She received her J.D. in 2005 from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Collectively, her education and work experience allow her to integrate with client technology and management teams to wholly understand her client’s needs.
